My male tuxedo cat Buddy loves belly rubs, until he doesn’t. My job is to anticipate the transition between “I love it, do more” and “going to bleed you now.” This requires full attention, which is why I don’t have any belly rub pictures.

My impression is same as yours, that most mass shootings were done with firearms legally purchased. However, this does not necessarily mean ”registered.” Here’s a map that shows how few US states require gun registration, and some actually prohibit it!
