Did anyone on the comments read the article? Agreed the settlement money means almost nothing but there are structural changes to protect kids as part of the settlement which is a decent step in the right direction for our country that rarely takes any steps forward.

Its insane watching the 2nd amendment obsessed MAGAS literally stand by watching an authoritarian weaken our democracy while you shine his shoes. You should be ready to rise up with the rest of us regardless of party when the executive wants to take our liberties away. Go study Victor Orban rise.

How can you possibly think this as Donalds efforts for the last few months have been to gerrymander states across the country and change voting laws because he knows hes in deep shit for the midterms. If he wasnt driving our country into the ground he would be confident and ready to win on merrits.

Its quite interesting how Washington State is about the only blue state the federal goverment has been amenable to. Maybe Trump was put in his place enough times by Governor Ferguson while he was the AG since he beat Donald about 50 times in court.

Yup the amount of "good faith" that is expected to block goverment corruption is outragious. Its like a bank just putting cash on its doorstep and hoping no customers ever pick any up on thier way out.

Its almost like you can work to improve your states economy while also taxing the wealthy. Once said impossible by.......the wealthy and the people they convince.

The people I see representing the voice of the constituents who lean left are within DSA. I think people hesitate b/c the use of the word socialist but really they are offering what democracy intented. A goverment for the people and fair capatalism instead of coorporate socialism.

The phrase "Socialist" is not being correctly used. These "Democratic Sociolists" are actually wanting to perform democracy as intended by letting the voices of the piblic be heard and working as public servants. They are not suggesting removal of capitalism but rather ending coorporate socialism.

This is a mute concern as the volume of illegals voting is almost zero and negligible. Ideas like the Save act would put barracades, stopping thousands of legal residents from voting so that we can stop the 1 illegal from voting. This is a bad idea meant to be put in place to the benefit of MAGA
