We must impose term limits on congress and justices. Not being ageist. It’s just common sense. No fucking 80 year old should unilaterally be making life changing decisions for people who have their whole life ahead of them.

Lots of folks are comparing McConnell’s vote today to Feinstein’s finals days in the senate. The main difference is that Feinstein was co-sponsoring legislation to expand voting rights, while McConnell voted to cut SNAP and end environmental protections.

Pretty clear most Congress members are serving their own self interests and think it’s ok to ignore their constituents.
Citizens United tips the playing field in favor of the ultra wealthy who do not have the people’s best interests in mind. Ending it would go a long way to correct that.
