electronics hobbyist, restorer of old crap, lover of books, collector of cool stuffs.
Just left my Doctor.
New diagnosis just dropped.
I apparently have POTS, which explains my syncopal episodes.

Another addition to the list of my ongoing health problems.

Found another phaostron 555a multimeter, still works, came with its original manual and leather case. These are pretty great for the day to day.

This one is from the General Motors Electromotive Division, probably early to mid 50s, my original one was made in 1952.

I'm still $150 Short, I need my glasses, I'm incredibly nearsighted with an astigmatism, I can't do my job without them, I can barely function without them.
Need help getting to $150 so I can get new glasses, mine are literally falling apart and the left lense keeps popping out. If anyone can donate even just a bit it'd help a lot.

Saw this Yamaha at the thrift store, if I had the room I'd buy it for the $40 they have on it.

Finally nabbed a Polaroid SX 70, only ran me $60, WHICH IS A STEAL FOR A WORKING ONE. Little shits run like $200-$300 easy in good working condition.
I've wanted one for so long.

Found a picture of when I picked up my Burroughs typewriter, got it several years ago and am still working on it.
Also I found a nice 1940 royal aristocrat.

Found 3 1970 Panasonic panapets, 2 fully work and one still has the keychain.
Gotta clean the old paint off of the green.

These were originally released to commemorate the 1970 Osaka world expo.

Welp, it looks like I'm in need of double bypass surgery. Hearts been struggling to keep up and my cardiologist says if I don't deal with it now my syncopal episodes will get worse.

Chiitan loves all transgender people.
I've received a lot of criticism for expressing my support, but what's more important is that all transgender people live happy lives.
Blue Sky cannot display long posts, so please read this post if you'd like.
love you all 🤍

So I started looking at the grundig melody boy I got for free. Would test but I absolutely DO NOT trust this power supply.
I have a feeling that if I plug this in I'm gonna see the afterlife.

A history lesson on the outdoors in the US and why it's mostly white people enjoying it. From @blackforager.bsky.social and @pattiegonia.bsky.social. A lot to learn here. This proves that the outdoors movement is 100% relevant to social issues. It's time for change.
