Not really a computer but I found this earlier...

I haven't posted much about my #SlowWays walks here recently. I have been working on a wiggly line from Lincoln to Cleethorpes and finished it yesterday. 5 of the 6 routes are new, and all have good public transport links. Lincolnshire is short of paths but at least they maintain them fairly well.

Out for a short walk trying Nottingham's new Trent footbridge this afternoon. Created a #SlowWays route that uses it too, though I haven't yet walked that end to end.

This was my attempt

Perhaps I should have taken account of the "RSPB Adwick Washland" area marked on the map before attempting this #SlowWays walk from Mexborough to Bolton upon Dearne yesterday. Almost certainly fine when there hasn't been weeks of rain, and never more than knee deep, but pretty cold.

This arrived this afternoon, so I took it to the pub. Started the ALP but got a bit stuck. @unchcrosswords.com

Another #SlowWays walk in wintry sunshine yesterday, making a walkable route from Broughton Astley to Kibworth Beauchamp in Leicestershire.

This is an Excel chart view of my walked SlowWays, with completed triangles shaded. Still can't get the waylist to display verified routes.

Haven't posted much about #SlowWays or walking here for a while, so here are a few pictures of yesterday's walk from Stone to Hixon, mostly on the Trent & Mersey canal. Would do Alt text but they'd all say "icy canal".

About to start this one. With a blurb quote by the same Sheena Patel.

August is Booker longlist time for me, and thanks to my friends at @fiveleavesbooks.bsky.social, I have now started my last book, having finished Misinterpretation yesterday. So far, my favourites are Seascraper and Endling, for very different reasons, and it is an unusually strong list.

This lot followed me into the corner of the field. Fortunately I didn't have to retreat.

A few pictures from Wednesday's #SlowWays pleasant but unspectacular walk from Retford to Sutton on Trent. I have just one Nottinghamshire SlowWays route left to do, and hope to do Rampton to Gainsborough tomorrow to finish the set (see link below for a map).

A few pictures from yesterday's #SlowWays walk testing a new route from Sutton on Trent to Rampton, mostly along the west bank of the Trent. A lovely 5* walk but not ideal for public transport - I had to walk another 2.5 miles to get a bus from South Leverton afterwards.

Did a 3 #SlowWays 14 mile triangle from Staveley yesterday, 🐌ing StaBol2 & BolClo2 then testing a new StaClo3. Still plenty of snow and hard ice in NE Derbyshire, and wet sticky clay where it had melted.

I was out in the fog yesterday testing a more direct #SlowWays route from Carlton to Southwell yesterday. Lots of ghostly trees, damp fields, a bit of sticky mud but no longer views.

This is the new route:
