some of the moms & kids are gonna be putting up fliers for this tomorrow bc there was only one person there from 8pm-1am last night, when it was 20 degrees. they closed the salvation army & didn’t tell people where else they could go. trying to get the word out & make it as hospitable as possible.
spending three nights this week volunteering at a warming center since the local salvation army shelter shut down "to research and address homelessness from a preventative standpoint"
we've put together enough + raised enough for food packages, still sorting out sleep packages since no cots allowed

Beyond full w/ 260 fostered but take in 3 emergencies today. I.e. Predator-injured domestic pigeon rescued to Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley, transferred to City of San Jose Animal Care, transported by Rabbit Haven to foster Michelle to be vetted, cared for & ultimately rehomed by Palomacy.
