If you climb up to Fushimi Inari shrine in Kyoto, definitely leave time for Fushimi Inari Sando Chaya. It’s a small teahouse near Inari station, with traditional matcha, cakes, desserts and gifts. A perfect cool-down spot after 12k steps to Fushimi Inari and back. #FushimiInari #Kyoto #Matcha

These are the best pork Tom Yum noodles I’ve had in Bangkok (so far). Located on Banthat Thong Road, Lek Yai is one of the finest noodle spots in the city. 📍เล็กใหญ่ ก๋วยเตี๋ยวต้มยำโบราณ

Ebisu Shoten in Phrom Phong is an Osaka-style izakaya that feels like something straight out of Shinsekai. Next time I’m trying the kushikatsu! #Bangkok #Thailand #JapaneseFood

Crazy to think there are almost 6,000 Japanese restaurants in #Thailand, and about two-thirds are in Bangkok. It’s the most popular foreign cuisine among Thais. Quality varies but overall it’s surprisingly great.

Shanghai Moon in #Bangkok Chinatown serves traditional Chinese-Thai desserts. We had the grass jelly with herbal syrup over ice and the hot purple taro dumplings in milk. Each bowl is around 50–80 THB.

Kaminari Sushi in Osaka’s Sennichimae district lives up to its “No.1 Sushi Bar in Osaka” claim. Near Namba, it’s walk-in only and buzzing with energy. The service is fast, portions are big, and the salmon, tuna and eel were all top quality. Hands-down our best #Osaka sushi experience. #JapanTravel

Gokai Tachizushi in Namba is more like an izakaya than a sushi bar with beer posters on the walls, fast service & a busy vibe. Our highlight was toro maki with generous chunks of tuna. We also had a big uni + ikura gunkan & a six-piece nigiri set. Luxurious sushi without the price tag. #JapanTravel

Tucked down a side street near Namba Station, Fukuyoshi is a quiet little sushi counter with friendly prices and zero fuss. We dropped in for an early dinner, watched the chefs at work, and left full and happy. If you want relaxed, good-value sushi without the crowds, this is the spot. #Osaka #Japan

Wandering through South Bank, pausing at the impressive Queen St Wharf, and kicking back among the bustling #Brisbane food markets. This is a city steadily finding its rhythm, rising with energy and promise.

Spent a week in #Brisbane & was struck by how much it’s grown. Confident, comfortable, unmistakable. Culture around every corner & a bold river stitched with parks and world-class walks. Even in winter, the Queensland sun takes the edge off & the vibe is relaxed. Easy to settle into, hard to leave.

A few moments from our July trip back home in northern NSW, surrounded by family and the simple beauty of it all. #Australia

Back from a couple of weeks on the NSW North Coast. Crisp air, bird calls, endless blue skies, fireside coffee and family time. Always reminded how lucky I am to call this place home.

Back in Aus for a couple weeks in July, and winter on the NSW north coast was beautiful. Stopped in #Bangalow at WOODS, grabbed a sunny table under the greenery, had a salmon & avo brekkie and one of the best burgers I’ve had back home. Mango coconut smoothie and cold brew to finish. Hard to beat!

Spending a few weeks back home in #Australia with family was really special. There’s always that strange feeling of seeing it through tourist eyes, but it just reminds me how much I love this place. Such a big, beautiful country, filled with landscapes that feel nothing short of magical.

Some photos we took walking through Dotonbori on a hot July night in Osaka. Packed streets, boats on the canal, and heaps of energy everywhere. It’s loud and chaotic and kind of magic, this is Osaka at its most alive. Love this place!

I loved exploring Dotonbori on foot and trying everything in sight. It’s packed with sizzling skewers, molten hot takoyaki, delicious desserts, and some of the cities best restaurants. The hardest part was trying not to burn my mouth: everything’s served fresh and piping hot 😆 🥵 🔥

Had lunch at Chibo in Osaka to try authentic okonomiyaki. Sat at the counter, watched it cooked fresh on the teppan. Tasty, filling, & fun to watch being made! Also had yakisoba & tonpeiyaki (pork omelette). Great intro to Osaka food in a relaxed, friendly spot.

Kuromon Market, aka 'Osaka’s Kitchen,' was a street food dream: Kobe beef, crispy tempura, sea urchin, chilled fruit and more. 150+ stalls, just a 15-minute stroll from Dotonbori. Go mid-morning to beat the crowds. Shrimp tempura & sweet potato chips were highlights. Worth checking out! #JapanFood

A few more snaps from Koh Kood. Morning beach breakfast, the mango smoothie at Good View Cafe, the seafood dinner at Peter Pan. And of course this legend of a cat who clearly runs the island 🌴☀️🇹🇭

Some shots from Koh Kood on the beach at the fire show outside Peter Pan Resort. Such a good moment, and a few photos I’m super glad I took. Love Thailand 🇹🇭❤️🔥
