A few folks cancelled last minute so the plan I had made for tonight had to be modified. Thanks to these lovely fellas, Graham and Duncan, we did manage to get a reasonable course of Cambs 6. We also rang R&CC, G5 and Treble Bob Hunting. The Stedman 5 wasn't so great though #bellringing

There weren't many of us this morning but those who were there rang two 120's of Stedman Doubles, alternating with courses of Cambridge Minor. Very good standard of #bellringing

No bats 🦇 in our belfry, we probably scared them off with our attempts at Norwich 😧 We did better at touches of S5 & G5, TB Hunting and learning one lead of Bourne at a time going in to Little Bob. Richard did well in practicing his tenor behind ready for his quarter attempt next month #bellringing

Excellent ringing this morning. Striking was superb in our touches of G5, PB5, PB6, Stedman 5, then a course of Cambs 6. The striking was also most excellent in the raise and lowering in peal. Marvellous 👌 #bellringing Pic of Dave leading them down

At Blewbury tonight Mr helped with getting the flag down so took pic from the roof. There was some excellent ringing of PB6, a 120 of G5, various Stedman 5 so Helen could do the singles & PB7. We had a really well struck course of Cambs 6 and then finished with some R&CC for the vicar #bellringing

We all celebrated being able to ring tonight considering it was boiling at Blewbury. We celebrated having visitors enabling G7. We celebrated Bob and Andrew doing PB6 very, very well, and Katie ringing Cloisters 7 & Stedman 5, and Helen ringing Stedman 7 #bellringing

This months Surprise Minor Practice at Radley was still well attended even with an eclipse and another hot evening. I rang Woodbine and Bourne, and Mr got London and rang a touch of Ipswich. There was also Norwich and a course of Kent for a new person to the group #bellringing

Some injured, some poorly and most of the rest of us hot and tired. Teifi and I were outnumbered by the boys, but we made the best of it. Dick doing amazing at PB6 unaccompanied and 3 of them having a go at treble bob hunting. And some call changes too #bellringing

Liz has a special 00 birthday this week. We don't have enough quarter peal availability slots to enable us to ring one for her. So I suggested she decide what we rang. She asked for R&CC'S, PB7, PH7 and soem G7. Have a very Happy Birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈 🎁 #bellringing

Jonas' first blows inside for G7 went great. Dick rang G7 inside from another bell & got his up dodges right, then Duncan did well in his turn. Some of us got a course of Bourne 6 but the Norwich 6 didn’t go so well. Graham was so helpful with everything and everyone tonight, thank you #bellringing
