I get this from my brother and SIL all the time. They settled in Alaska 20 years ago and if I even mention any small thing about DC (new restaurant, going to a Caps game, etc) it’s just this giant eye roll and huffy exhale like I’m some huge elitist asshole. Sucks tbh
