The whole Shane Gillis SNL thing is just another reminder that it's so easy to be a shitty, lazy comedian if you're just willing to expose the fact that you a) hate women and b) haven't had an original joke idea since the Reagan administration

Bank of Canada security officers have been on strike for 100+ days. The Bank has been caught twice violating federal anti-scab law and even hired Pinkertons, a contractor notorious for violent strikebreaking. PM Carney says he stands with workers. Why won't he condemn this corporate lawbreaking?

DoorDash spent $1.4M trying to stop Zohran Mamdani from becoming mayor.

This week's historic $131.5M enforcement action against DoorDash for underpaying NYC delivery workers shows why.

Yet another reminder that the only thing that can beat organized money is organized people.

No we didn't vote for this - and Carney didn't campaign on it. 😡 Are NDPers who voted Liberal feeling any buyer's remorse yet?
BREAKING: Liberals plan to sell off airport operations in major cities.
Result? Higher costs for travellers, poorer service and foreign ownership of infrastructure critical to our national security.
That’s what happened in places like Heathrow.
Canadians did not vote for this.

Historians will be calling this era The Age of Stupidity, won't they?
People are smoking again because “modern life sucks?”

Collosally stupid.

You know what sucks? Dying of cancer in your mid-40s leaving behind 3 young kids because u smoked your whole adult life, like my older brother did.

Feels like yet another manipulative “big tobacco” marketing campaign to me.
Celebrity influence goes a long way, but what’s resuscitating cigarettes and glamorizing smoking most of all is modern life: how much it sucks, writes @harrisonmooney.bsky.social 🚬
