I’ve given lots of vaccines. They usually run 0.5-1 ml. I’ve also given meds intramuscularly. The limit is 4-5 ml in a large muscle like your bum. Patients tolerate 2-3 ml in the arm.

“It’s family business” is the response police used to give to justify non-interference when responding to domestic violence calls.

This is Jessica Knurick PhD, and I highly recommend following her for this kind of information regarding nutrition. Don’t think she’s on BlueSky. I follow her on Instagram and Substack

We do not have a garage, but an outdoor outlet. The smaller electric motor charges slowly on regular electricity, but we only need to plug it in at night. When we aren’t going on any trips, we can avoid using gas for weeks.

Sure of course! But that didn’t seem to work in these two situations. These docs are damned if they do, and damned if they don’t! Smart docs will leave these states (and sounds like that’s already happening)

This is where my confusion comes in. The law prevents docs from providing what is considered standard of care. In another state, the delayed care would be grounds for a lawsuit. Yet here, this doc’s decisions were influenced by state law. So more docs need to be punished for following state law?

People I know who use AI in their writing use “quietly” a lot. I’m wondering if that’s the origin

As online as I am, I don’t know who this is!

I really don’t want to read this, but if he used the phrase “some people are saying” then I guess we can figure out what political leader he’s been studying

This would all have been swept under the rug and done with if not for her.

Cave opening? I vaguely remember this being used a lot in crosswords

I’m a nurse, so I regularly see the parallel to my job. Do you know what would happen to me if I gave the wrong medication to the wrong patient???

This is a bizarre take bc I’ve already made a note to spend some of my entertainment budget elsewhere. We have lots of great opportunities in DC to see theatre

Weird that my 23 yo keeps playing the Carpenters, the Temptations and The Beach Boys for me. I get a kick out of it!

Yeah, this upset me. And before her story became public, I didn’t even know who she was. I guess as a mother of adult children, I’m mostly thinking about Caroline Kennedy’s pain right now

Ahhh… the concept of “due process” might be useful in protecting the innocent people! Too bad he’s unfamiliar with it
