depends on whether you measure this in terms of strategic outcome or human cost. If its the former, its significantly worse than Vietnam and Afghanistan. Neither of those changed much on a global scale. Great win for green energy though. Trump tricked everyone into thinking he was pro-oil.

It's not like FIFA corruption is a new concept. Awarding WCs to Russia and Qatar was considerably more corrupt than reversing a red card. FIFA has been profoundly corrupt forever; seems like the anger here is more about who is benefiting.

You'll never get Dem priorities into a ratified amendment. They require broad consensus. Pretty sure there is broad consensus that birth tourism is an unintended consequence of 14th. When it was passed, the fastest mode of transit was 40mph, not a jet.

This only works if you can somehow get an apolitical prosecutor. O.w. the prosecutor is likely from the same party and nothing really changes. The original sin of our democracy is party fealty trumps duties of office.
