Here's this week's work! A collars and cuff set in each black & steel/silver and mahogany & brass, decorated with the classic "gunslinger" stitching pattern. These are ready to be sewn up and completed in the near future~

While I'm still figuring stuff out for an online storefront, a perpetually-open order form specifically for Base Model gear (and maybe leashes) is in the works. You'll get to choose from the usual selection of colors, threads, & metal options ->

It's been a bit since I last shared some wip shots! Here's a few peeks at some of the inventory pieces I've been working on the last few weeks between custom orders~
two, layered leather collars sit atop a granite slab. The first is a red, yellow, and blue collar with punchwork, stainless steel hardware with matching rivets, and cream white thread. The second is a pale green & maroon stamp tooled collar with two-tone dyework, painted metallic accents, pear green sewn borders, and solid brass hardware with mathcing rivets. Three collars sit ready to be sewn up. The first is a fully black leather collar with silver colored spikes, stainless steel hardware with matching rivets, and pear green stitched borders. Second is a two-tone aqua & black "stained glass" tooled collar, aqua stitched borders, stainless steel hardware with matching rivets. Third is a punchwork collar with black cherry purple top strap, aqua blue back strap, and seafoam green liner, golden tan thread, and solid brass hardware with matching rivets. A5-sized, weathered journal cover in a patina'd oxblood red color, hammered rivets in a grid across the cover, spine reinforcements, and will get get golden tan thread. The dyes have been applied in a way where the blue comes through the tooling patterns to give almost a colored glow-like look to the leather.

WIP preview of two punchwork collars that were being worked on last week. Top one is in my Alpine color palette, the one underneath in a combo of oranges, black, and silver/steel.

This B5 journal cover was a fun, smol experiment for adding lace & spikes to a cover. @pirateartisans.bsky.social said it's a mimic b/c of the spiked 'teeth' being hidden under the flap, & I honestly love the idea. Mimics have a good taste in style 😎
A seemingly plain, weathered, B5-sized leather journal cover in golden brown with a live edge flap and draw cord. The edges are sewn with tan thread. The same journal cover with the live edge flap pulled back to reveal a decorative accent panel strip covered in navy blue-almost-black zigzag tooling, dome cap rivets, short brass spikes, and light brown ex-lacing. Two, new tome covers are finally making their debut this weekend at #FWA. One is a turquoise/pale blue & medium brown dragonscale cover, the other is a deep green & dark brown royal patina cover. Both were a blast to make & I cant wait to see them find homes.

Handmade leather journal cover tooled in the fashion of a classic, dragonscale tome. The medium brown cover is detailed with finely tooled, angular-themed borders and has pale blue and pewter metallic painted accents. The main imagery panels on the cover faces depict weathered dragon scales in a mottled variety of turquoise, pale blues, and pewter. The edges of the cover are handsewn with a lighter, medium brown thread. The interior of the dragonscale tome cover. Lined with dark brown lamb or pigskin, it holds a loose leaf pocket on the left side, tooled with the same border pattern as the exterior, and a sleeve pocket on the right side to hold one's journal insert. This one current holds a sketchbook insert. Similar layout to the dragonscale, but decorated with different tooling designs, this tome cover is bordered with more curving designs and cornered with flowers, all painted with dark green, bronze, gold, and pale yellow accents. The main imagery panels on the covers show an intricately tooled design in my "royal patina" pattern in deep green, with gold, bronze, dark green, and pale yellow accents. This custom, black, brown, and silver spiked harness with its diamond punchwork and jagged, teeth-like tooling is inspired by Death from the film Puss in Boots 2.

I always enjoy using this tooling pattern as it allows me to play around with colors. Making all the blended greens for this one was no exception; one shade even has some silver metallic mixed into it~ 💚

I love how striking the red thread works with the whole piece. It adds just enough color for a playful accent to the classic black & silver combo.
