it wouldn’t be until i was living in france at 15 years old, sitting at dinner+watching the news, where i’d see primetime coverage for the 1st time that wasn’t censored, that very openly showed the horror of battlefield footage, blood, even partially-obscured bodies. this was during the arab spring

(+) restrategized from the ground up. you said it urself that when cons are small, the volunteer labour comes together simply. when u have 15k+ attendees the game is different! roles with strict definitions, limitations and *boundaries* are essential, and i think compensation counts as a boundary
