What happens a lot on social media is when someone (Warren Ellis, Neil Gaiman now Ed Brubaker) has allegations thrown at them people tend to leap out the woodwork saying "their work was never good."
That helps no one as it's irrelevant. What matters is their actions and what they did.

Children are people. When you have a kid, you make a person, and that person is not going to follow a script. If you think your kid is one thing and they're actually another, your job as a parent is to support them and set them up for success, not punish them for wanting different pronouns.
