I worked at a McDs in N VA in 1987. Paid me $9/hr bc local rich kids wouldn’t be caught dead there. I was the only US native other than mgmt. Worked drive-thru bc customers could understand me over the speaker. Heard amazing stories of survival & gained HUGE appreciation for immigrant work ethic.

He delayed it for months and did it halfheartedly (imo) just before general election voting began. The default position must be that we back the nominee - what’s the alternative? Let folks think the other is a better choice? These are dark times and leadership needs to lead.

I really liked him at first. But then he wouldn’t endorse Mamdani after the primary. Leader of big tent party decides it’s not big enough for a guy who is in lockstep with the majority of the party on all the big issues. And he just fell off the pedestal for me. Just got worse after that.
