It really was probably the best era of NYRF for our lifetime, anyway. Those were definitely huge draws then. Now I catch any of the former members at all, it's either here at my local faire in Albany or when I head down to MDRF (Maryland).

I had been going to NYRF pretty much every year from 1997 to right around 2020 or so. Alas, I've long since been priced out and a lot of the friends I made among the cast and musicians have long since moved on to other faires.

Oh I am absolutely of the Winter Court, while you're off enjoying summer I'm in a polycule with my air conditioners.

Because that's my problem, I enjoy walking...but not when it's 85+ degrees out and the humidity is swamp-ass% and it's sooooo much preferable to be with my polycule of air conditioners and fans.
