Skatepark construction has begun!!

I drove the truck hehe. We also forgot a shovel so had to hand scoop so much gravel 😭

alt: short video showing some bright and colourful trees before zooming into the back of the lorry with bags of gravel and two skateboards in it.

Since dude blocked me let me say something about this.

This is absolute BULL SHIT.

1. There is no “male loneliness epidemic.” Quit that shit.

2. Horrible men live long and happy lives full of friends and partners despite being misogynistic ass hats. It happens often.

Everyone, we urgently need to call together all compassion for the young sweet boy Ahmed in Gaza’s serious life threatening condition. It’s been an emergency a long time & he grips to his life as his family watches in helpless terror & panic seeking aid. They needed us yesterday & right now! Give.
💔 Please don’t scroll past Ahmed’s post. This is him today. His abdomen is open and covered with gauze, an IV is in his hand, and spots cover his face. He cries from the pain all day. He urgently needs surgery. We are terrified of losing him. Please help us save him. 🙏

Far too many people likely didn't take enough precautions to avoid this. For future reference, when going to a protest, wear neutral clothing with no brands showing, cover up tattoos and other identifiers such as uniquely dyed hair. Wear a face mask and sunglasses.

I gotta get off Reddit or find a different space on Reddit. So tired of the bald watered down takes from white folks. Even in anarchist and leftists spaces. Good god.

I know chloroquine and methadone were two. (The former being ironic as HELL).
mmhmm.

how much of the things we beneficialfit from daily came at the cost of people who couldn't/didn't consent AND were tortured.
They tested products, medicines, theories, etc to no end b/c they didn't need the consent of the participants.

I think about this a lot.

The tests that highlight the depths of their depravity are focused on but they did everything from testing shoes by having them walk in circles until they collapsed or the shoes gave out.

The reason the Nazi scientist + doctors got away with so much is because they had a huge sample size of humans to experiment on without having to care about morality or ethics.

Now, they market it through corporations and industry plants, getting people willing to sign up for trials (unwittingly).

Tinu had CANCER and was forced to dedicate so much time at the end of her life to crowd funding her hospital bills & chemotherapy.

We are doing the SAME to Bex.

Tinu’s life was devalued because she was Black & disabled.

Don’t do the same to Bex.

Bex deserves to live, to rest, to RECOVER.
$4175 - how much Rebeka needs to BREATHE

Y’all know I’m crazy, I just know that this can be done.

It always takes weeks for Bex to raise enough for their requests, even the small ones. They’re at a point where these expenses have piled up.

YOU can change that by giving $1 or more!

Competitive Authoritarianism in America | Journal of Democracy
The United States has slid into competitive authoritarianism. The slide has been modest and remains reversible—but it is real. Even after Donald Trump, American democracy will remain fragile.

Never seen you before but this is accurate.

The takes on “male loneliness.” And “you won’t be lonely if you’re a good person” is just this.

It’s “not all men” being twisted as to be more palatable.

And it’s absolutely horseshit.
It just a specific flavor of "not all men"

Similar to what I was just saying.

Misogyny is not generally ostracizing. We lived in a misogynistic society, how could it be on its own.?
this is a thing that I worry about with the incel discourse. yes, people who feel they are failing at maleness in some ways can be violent misogynists. but so can "successful" men in mainstream male spaces.
I grew up in a binary youth culture: Jocks or freaks; it frequently came to blows. Jocks were the majority, and started the fights.
I was a freak. I’m emphatically no paragon of virtue on misogyny; I’m a fuck up. But we had nothing on jocks when it came to misogyny. No frat boys in my friend group.

Disabled people tried to warn you.

We were one of the first groups targeted by the Nazis.

Fascists will always come for the “useless eaters”.

They want to institutionalize us. Hide us away from the rest of society. Remove our supports so we either die or disappear.

It’s eugenics.
