Seven weeks left til Halloween AKA my bird suit deadline and I feel like I am so very behind schedule in building my crow boi, despite starting work on it in July. A couple of unrelated setbacks are threatening to delay this project severely and it's driving me nuts.

Here is Pollux, the Cosmic Crow I'm making the birdsuit in likeness. His tail is the arm of a galaxy and his wings are nebulae. I used the Carina Nebula as reference for his wings here, but any nebula is fine.
On a background of twilight sunset there is a happy crow in the center with wings spread, flight feathers colored like the Carina Nebula, scattered with stars. Tail feathers depict an arm of the Milky Way also pockmarked with glowing stars. His eyes glow an aquamarine and he has small aquamarine markings on his beak. OC is Pollux and created by/belongs to Blackfeathr.

My partner and I are making my partial birdsuit this year, a cosmic crow with a galaxy tail and nebula wings ~ We got the tail done this past weekend! Pattern is from @mugiwaracosplay.bsky.social!

Well, it finally happened. Reddit invalidated my API key so Infinity, the 3rd party app I've been using for four years, no longer works.

That's one way to get me to quit reddit cold turkey.

Hopefully Lemmy gets more popular.

A book from the 1850s that my partner got from a vintage bookstore a long time ago, with a handwritten poem in it cursing anyone who steals the book.

My new (and first) tattoo. My design. It signifies my mental and emotional healing from a place of total darkness.
