I’m a sucker for and love zero to hero stories so hearing that Ace Combat does that for every game of you starting out as a nobody rookie and by the end being the people’s hero and relying on you makes me wish I got into this series sooner
Ace Combat from my experience with 7 and Zero and going into 8 later is really a series about your allies & enemies glazing you about being the best Ace pilot out there and that only you can do it.
And you know what? It works. It feels good

Not my project, but as I don't think the team have a post up here yet: It looks like the Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 3 patch is out!
It's available over on their page for it, alongside some details and words from some team members:

Happy 30th anniversary, Sakura Wars! This series changed my life! My interest in exploring untranslated gems was a direct result of the amazing experience I had when I first played through these games. SW taught me how limited the western view of games & their history truly is.

There are a lot of Fire Emblem games that never came overseas. Some did, in a way, but most are still exclusive to Japan. I was building up to this one for quite a while, so I hope you check it out when you take a break from Fortune’s Weave~
