Also i find it very informal so i use it like here with non irl communities and friends but ditch it completely for IRL writing, work, e-mails etc because i feel it's too laid back and not professional which makes me look too inmature or silly, but thats just my hot take ha ha!

Speaking for myself i use it when i'm being jokey, teasy, kidding or expression sadness and excitement but tend to leave it out when im being more serious.
