The context around the image is fantasy boiled down to the lowest common denominator. He even uses the word “slop” right around there. I imagine the AI art is meant to emphasize that. The hallucination of a fantasy world.
I’d hope that it’s real art that just *looks* like that. Impossible to tell.

Incredible tips. Perfect pairing with Do the Legwork. #3 drives me especially crazy. Coming up with short table entries is easy and fun! Making them actionable is hard and not guaranteed to be fun!

Equally bad maybe worse is their use of “Sorcerer” to mean at-will caster in 1987. Like sure maybe you could argue that’s homebrew at their table, but come on.
