'Final' arc was all kinds of epic. Now the long wait to December when the 'Finale sequel' (wut?) airs.

It got a rebroadcast this month in Japan to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the anime adaption airing.

If only they'd do a surprise-season-2.

Season 3 now. So glad it kept the manga's wtf-energy.

I collected a lot of the manga but had never watched the show. A few episodes in and it’s pretty much on par with the start of the manga

Some Saturday morning horror. Unsettling window into the unravelling of a mind. Quiet but relentless. I enjoyed.

Weirdly for an anime person I have watched very few Ghiblis, so made it a mission this year to try to get through more. Sweet, but depressing. I watched the English dub; not sure if that's the right one but it was decent.

Every time I re-watch Space Brothers I just get legitimately pumped and then want to go to space for no real reason. Also makes me want a Pug is Dog tshirt.

New "The Ghost In The Shell" feels pretty old school. Interesting to see it in the Manga's style.

We are getting pretty close to 2029, though.

Legitimately good Transformers comic (ignoring nostalgia). I am only halfway through Volume 3 but interesting, fun, brutal so far.

Planetes. I've been meaning to watch it for 15 years now. It's a bit corny but I like it. It's different to the manga and it feels real. I like the attention to detail and the thought that went into how humanity lives in space. #newoldanime #space
