I took my daughter to see the Goonies for the 40th anniversary release yesterday. She's almost exactly the same age I was when I first saw it.

We had a tired visitor to our back yard this afternoon after torrential rains for the last day. We think it's just resting, but it didn't seem bothered by me getting somewhat close.

We were moving to NZ during Fringe's original run, so we only finished the first two seasons when it originally aired. We fixed that over the last six weeks by re-watching the ones we vaguely remembered and finishing the series last night. What a ride! We're really going to miss it.
