Introduction:
I’ve been a professional musician and graphic artist since the mid-80s. I may like posts with floofy animals and also written or drawn things.
I support creative people so if you’re a musician, singer, dancer, artist, photographer, author, or food creator, etc feel free to say hello

I think, in light of all the rotten people out there spreading terf nonsense, today would be a good day to support trans creators.
Trans folk, please add your links to this thread for books or crafts or whatever you do!

Happy Pride from me and @ambertamblyn.bsky.social!!
I had never kissed a girl before. So, as a guest on Two and a Half Men, and after I kissed Ashton Kutcher (in cougar-like fashion) they asked, would I also passionately kiss Amber on the way out? Nice! Ahhh! An actor’s life. 🎭

In this political climate, protecting the arts as a source of revolutionary self-expression has never been more important.
But like many nonprofit arts orgs, TCAF is experiencing financial challenges.

Equity Arc, which trains young musicians of color, was set to play with the US Marine Band — until Trump's anti-DEI order canceled the show.
But Chicago stepped up, and now the students will perform at @chicagosymphony.bsky.social on 4/6. Grab a free ticket and join me in cheering them on. cso.org

Starting to livestream my piano practice at night soon. Getting my twitch channel set up.
I’m terrible but it would be nice to chill with people while I’m learning.

Someone on Facebook asked advice for a coverup tattoo for a Gaiman quote (and fair enough!) and a tattoo artist got chatting and said they do so many HP coverups these days too. That made me very happy. Then they said: "I donate the money from hp coverups to trans advocacy groups" and I got happier.

TikTok removing the audio — a song which I wrote and only I performed on — from one of my videos for “copyright infringement” made my decision to obliterate my account and the app a very joyous one.
