Thought I might start keeping a list of potential adhd symptoms, as they occur to me, just as an exercise. Now I'm just staring at this list and cackling at how fucking WEIRD I am! Idk if I have this diagnosis or that but SOMETHING'S wrong! 🤣

Things have gotten so shitty that when I sat in water on the bus today and had to go a doctor's office looking like I shat my sweatpants, I literally felt nothing.
Existence is now a kaleidoscope of torture. I just hope to endure past society's breaking point so I can see what's on the other side.

A main character in one of my favorite shows just died. Not like, they got shot and the screen went dark, I mean they had a whole-ass funeral. It was horrible. And I just feel like I should get to take off work tomorrow for bereavement.

Late capitalism is endlessly refreshing a broken website because the infrastructure you rely on to work is crumbing but you have to keep your numbers up so you don't lose your job in the inevitable next round of lay-offs.

I hate having respiratory issues because breathing is so non-optional that I can't ignore my problems like I usually do.

So much of my job is determined by federal regulations and funding. Seeing the tiny little ways that the administration's influence seeps into things is so heartbreaking. One small example, I want this study to offer options besides male and female on a survey but it is DoD funded.
