Public spending should come with a clear explanation of the cost, the benefit, and who ultimately pays for it.
Add it up: $12 million for a car race, $5.2 million for a cage fight, and more than $300 million for a ballroom he swore would cost the public nothing. Call it $317 million in vanity, financed by people who never got a vote on any of it.
