I don’t get what the advantage is to delay. They’ll still have an election, but in November. It doesn’t sound like Beshear can appoint a replacement either way. They can’t cast his vote, right?

Exactly! They trump up these bogus charges to hide their own culpability, and to get them to plead.

Why weren’t their matches moved out of the US ? And why was it acceptable for the US to harass competitors, officials, supporters? The US as a venue for any games should have been cancelled.

Even aside from the corruption and incompetence, the US attacked Iran while they actively negotiated with Kush and Witkoff. Do they really think Iran will negotiate with them again?

I can’t donate anymore, but did when I was younger. I do remember subsequently passing out one time. It wasn’t an immediate reaction, but an hour or two later.

Can’t help but wonder if the change in Bezos’ commitments to The Post is related to his marriage at the time of purchase, vs when he started interfering in editorial policy.
