Hold on. We the taxpayers are going to pay companies $900 million, which is more than 6x what we spend on wind power R&D, to NOT build wind power at a time when electricity prices are spiking and we need more clean power?
The Trump administration has announced two more payouts for energy companies to walk away from U.S. offshore wind projects under development.

🧪⚛️ The FY26 budget was signed in the first week of February. NSF still has not had its spending approved all the way. Is Congress going to push back on this, or are they ceding a pocket recision? Halfway through FY26, and NSF has only obligated 7% of its supposedly authorized funds.

I'd really like to see leadership calling for impeachment and removal, regardless of whether they have the votes to get it done. Same way we called for marriage equality before we had the votes. A leader's job is to lead. If a genocidal threat isn't impeachable, then nothing is.
