Sorry, but I am tired of people defending this documentary with “at least it raises awareness.” I think it is worth asking what exactly is gained by giving 24 Israeli soldiers and intelligence officials anonymity so Western audiences can hear, once again, that horrific things happened in Gaza.

There is no meaningful “awareness gap” left to close. Palestinians have documented what is happening extensively, Israeli perpetrators have spoken about it, and people who continue to deny or excuse it are generally doing so for political reasons rather than because they need one more documentary.
