He had a treaty that was working that he torn up which would have prevented that threat. He could have tried negotiating instead of starting a war which hasn't really accomplished much other than expose our weakness, spent a lot of money, weapons, and cost many lives.

His last term he was impeached twice and both times not enough senators would vote to convict it would have taken Republican senators to break with their party. Like they say party over principles.

There are already laws against most of their corrupt actions, just nobody with the power willing to stand up to him.
