The negative experiences people associate with being trans are almost all due to other people. "People will be mean to you" is not the fault of transness, it's the fault of other people being dicks.

And, despite the efforts of those people, transitioning is still fundamentally worth it.

Unfortunately only I and 8 other people played more than 2 sessions of 4E because a D&D game being mechanically sound is anathema to the spirit of D&D as defined by its player base.

4E had pretty extensive Dark Sun support but they turned it into a big ongoing metaplot thing a lot of people disliked so I’m assuming they’re going to roll it back to the 2E default and then only support it infrequently (this is also what they’re doing for Greyhawk)

I’m a photographer in my free time.

For a minute there I tried to post a second account for it and tbh I just kinda rapidly learned posting photography into the social media void wasn’t for me, but I still love cameras and film and might make a gallery site someday.

Sanni, being a weird little witch, does daily rituals to keep her aether aligned in a way that basically results in transfemme HRT.

Valisen, being more of a genderfuck, took some potions that helped them grow a bit of a chest and change fat distribution but doesn’t stress it much past that.

it’s come to my attention that my tumblr post has been crossposted to bluesky, so I’m posting it on my account here #AntiAI #GenAI
recently my friend's comics professor told her that it's acceptable to use gen AI for script-writing but not for art, since a machine can't generate meaningful artistic work. meanwhile, my sister's screenwriting professor said that they can use gen AI for concept art and visualization, but that it won't be able to generate a script that's any good. and at my job, it seems like each department says that AI can be useful in every field except the one that they know best. It's only ever the jobs we're unfamiliar with that we assume can be replaced with automation. The more attuned we are with certain processes, crafts, and occupations, the more we realize that gen AI will never be able to provide a suitable replacement. The case for its existence relies on our ignorance of the work and skill required to do everything we don't.

Getting weird and crunchy with it. Hadn't tried shooting Phoenix yet and -experimental- is putting it lightly. I kinda love the weird crunchy and off kilter vibe it has tho? Wouldn't use it for everything, but fun!

Spotmatic w/ Super-Tak 50/1.4 using Phoenix 200 film
Analog photo of the 'catbird' sculpture. Extremely high grain with an odd color grading and funky shadows. The sculpture takes up the left half of the photo, partly obscured by a tree that takes up the right and top. Everything is in deep shadow except the side and top of the statue. Very creepy, crunchy, 80s horror kind of vibe. The same statue but now taking up the entire image, looking like it's staring directly at the viewer. IT FOUND YOU RUN! The 'dog' statue with an old post office in the background. It's a very skeletal thing in a washed out, off color image. The dog statue's dark colors stand out against the sky and building with extremely high contrast.
