This is the result of the Berlin U16 election (basically it's a mock election which is takes place in schools in Berlin as part of the political ed. class). The anti constitutional, right wing radical AfD only got 5.8% - which is like nothing compared to the polls among the "grown ups".

Weird accomplishments:

I'm the person with the most hours played in Pillars of Eternity and Deadfire (I believe).

As a 3 yo I fell on my face: got a cut & stitches above my left brow. 30 years later I fell on my face bc. of food poisoning: got a cut & stitches... exact same spot.

Weird accomplishments

Broke a middle school long jump record which was previously held by my 7th grade social studies teacher

Performed minor roles in professional productions of The Comedie of Errors and A Midſommer nights dreame using First Folio texts

Sang on the soundtracks of three games
weird accomplishments:

there is a pretty bad 600+ page novel whose existence is directly my fault. it has 4.5 stars on amazon.

I (with the team I was on) could have easily made Riot a couple hundred million dollars, conservatively

I own a one of a kind couture piece that is monetarily worthless

Hey @katedollarhyde.bsky.social @jesawyer.bsky.social @aarik.bsky.social @chinner17.bsky.social ...

Ouf! 😢

I'm sad to hear about the situation at Obs. I don't really know what to say but hope you are all okay.

Don't know how it's like in other districts of Berlin, but in Spandau the situation with the citizen's office has improved so drastically over the past 3 years or so that it's hard to believe. Well done!

I think it's important to not only complain about nuisances but also to praise improvements.

When I was 15 or so a childhood friend shouted "Wow, I have the EXACT same sweater - just without sleeves and with another pattern" across the room when I entered. It became a metaphor for those situations when people claim that things are identical/similar when they are absolutely not.
The mom of two guys in my childhood friend group would make cookies that our friend Ryan called “lemon nu-nus”. One day he was skateboarding and fell and hit his head on a curb. Everyone ran over and asked him if he was okay and he just said “lemon nu-nus” so every lemon thing became lemon nu-nus.
hit me with your hyperspecific friend or family slang. when i was a kid my friend once ate too many sour patch kids and then had some ketchup on fries and it was painful because of how acid blasted his tongue was. he told this story a few times, so "a ketchup story" came to mean an oft-repeated tale

I will now charge my EV for -0.29€ per kWh. You read that right: I will get 29 euro-cents for every kilowatt-hour I put into the car's battery. 🤗

Today my wife asked me if I had watched "Sechseckige Kirschen" (hexagonal cherries).

It took me a good part of a minute to figure out that she meant "Sex Education".

I was 15, driving my bike out of saddle at pretty high speed when the chain broke which forced the handlebars sideways and brought the bike to an abrupt halt, sending me over the handlebars. Somehow my heels performed a skyward kick on the bike - it landed on my back soon after I hit the asphalt.
As a 1 year old I ran headfirst into a glass fish tank and shattered it. I still have a scar from the bridge of my nose into the underside of the eyebrow/eye socket from it.

My dad saved all the fish by throwing them in the dishwater before taking me and my mom to the hospital.
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.

😅

Keinachtsbaum* almost finished.

Merry Christmas everyone!

* fake wooden trunk with lots of holes, real branches from big trees (which won't get cut down) stuck into it.

Sooo, jetzt erstmal kurz nachschauen, wer in diesem fiesen Verband der Familienunternehmer Mitglied ist und dann nonchalant boykottieren.

My wife brought dried Durian from a business trip to Malaysia and let the family do taste test - and now everybody but me is rinsing their mouths. 😂

I really like it!
