2nd of my Triptych, this time with Tick!
There's only one stage of drafting -- the rough sketch/mock-up phase ✏️
At this point I'm getting more confident with using acrylic markers, and I'm landing on a style for the project.

![Watercolor Rough Draft Sketch of Tick. It leans more toward a red, using Pyrrole Scarlet (DANIEL SMITH W/C), in the color section, and it's a little less dynamic than the final piece, as her hands are lower and only one is in frame. Instead of the grey-green background, I used Davy's Grey (HOLBEIN W/C) for the mid-tone.
A few notes are written to the side: "Whites in eye, everything [else] is grey." "Star is OK." "Dodge hands like a nun to a hooker."
(I was making fun of myself on that last one, I do tend to avoid drawing hands if I have to.)
I used one of my favorite textures of W/C paper, Aquarius II. Good for stacking color layers and low bleed on fringes. Unfortunately, Strathmore discontinued the series a few years ago.
