Matt and Jay: they're Risans who have been booted off of Risa for being menaces. Undaunted, they have ended up on a starship nice enough to have a holodeck, which is optimal for planning. They remain menaces. Someday the Rivoli on Risa won't know what hit 'em.

Nathan and Kanduu: Kanduu is the second candle sex ghost on record, but he's less shitty about it. Nathan gets possessed by shit all the time. I've decided they are on Enterprise, mostly so Picard can have another loser around that he has to learn to tolerate. Plus: they help Bev with her sex candle

Jack and John: Jack is a human security officer, John is a relatively young El-Aurian. Jack reacts to him so strongly that John becomes convinced that he has secret Q DNA in there somewhere. They fight about that forever, because they cannot get rid of one another (not that they really want to).

Eddie and Venom: Eddie is just a human guy who happens to be on a ship with a never been joined Trill symbiont. They crash, and Venom has to be implanted to save his life. This warps the host/symbiont relationship somewhat, but Trill decides to let Eddie keep it, as he'll die without.

Ash and Herbert: Ash is an officer who got partially assimilated at Wolf 359, Herbert is a medical officer who is interested in the medical possibilities of nanoprobes. They end up on the run when neither will let the higher ups just de-Borgify Ash. He still has problems with that hand.

Very little in the trailer caught me in any way, but Not That Kirk Hug!!!
