A recomp you can play without fear of it being AI Bro slop. And it's rejecting those who write whole issue reports with GenAi. You love to see it. 👏

"Be strong enough to be gentle" is one of the most empowering things Peter Cullen has said, a genuinely impactful saying. I can't believe he's gone, it's heartbreaking.
I'll always be strong enough to be gentle, king.
Rest easy Peter. Best wishes to the family.

Please boost this because this is a HUGE ISSUE.
The developers Mandragora have refused to note that GenAI was used in the development of #ReStory, going against Steam TOS in doing so. Several users have brought this to their attention via Steam and the use was denied each time. - 1/5

Going to do a small apology, I didn't know.
@tinybuildgames.bsky.social sent me a game key for ReStory by Mandragora the other day.
I streamed it.
It has since come to my attention they are using undisclosed generative AI in their work. The image included is a Steam wallpaper.

A reminder that I’m determined to make this a space where we can discuss gaming news respectfully, even when disagreeing.
We can criticise the direction of gaming without screaming. We can be passionate about it but reasonable to one another.

Bluesky Gaming is built on community and friendship. Sharing our passion for video games. Championing and supporting each other.
I want to be a space where we discuss gaming. No rage bait. Accepting there is nuance. Where people can respectfully agree/disagree and still be friends afterwards.

Oh, that's why my metrics have taken a dive recently - Twitch pushed a new update that doesn't count someone as a viewer if they don't have the Twitch tab in focus
RIP everyone who watches streams in the background, Twitch has no idea how people actually use their platform
