This specific pair was made by a friend of mine for me years ago now, and they have since stopped doing projects for people -- but i know there's cat ear earpro covers out there if you're interested in that and do a little google searching.

the fantasy of winning an armed conflict like that is one I see so often -- not just from dudes, too. there is a fetishization of violence from those who are unfamiliar with it that is such a fundamental misunderstanding of what it is like to be forced to enact that kind of violence on someone.

which is insane because lol, we're talking about killing another person in self defense -- you can't be assed to be responsible and competent about this? you just want the gun in your house? no skills associated?

the moment i mention any amount of training the conversation almost always chills -- talking about competition shooting as an avenue for pursuing extreme competence also almost always gets push back.

the number of times i've had this discussion has basically lead me to believe that people primarily do not care to think about this practically most of the time and instead want to reaffirm their vibes based choice that a gun youtuber recommended or that they saw in a video game/movie

def consider a cheapo 90s point and shoot, there's like a million of them and they're all pretty decent for under or around a hundo if you hunt around and want something nicer but ez, but i think these are really lovely as is :)

you should blend your shooting positions more, easy time gains coming into positions gun up and leaving positions on the last shot -- look up hwansik kim in and out drill, great visualization and breakdown of this concept. would love to see the hits and times if you post more later 🙏
