Caught this Vulgichneumon Saturatorius on North Ron yesterday. No records from Orkney on NBN Atlas but may just be under recorded?

Two watches totalling just over an hour in the morning and afternoon produced nearly 800 Fulmar heading North off North Ron so probably many thousand would have passed had we watched all day.

A little drive round the Island gave a rough count of 420 Fieldfare and 274 Redwing. Also an impressive flock of 86 Black tailed Godwit. #ukbirding
