Im really struggling these days, shit just keeps piling up and it’s hard to lean in to my creative process when my brain just wants to shut off. But I did some dabbling on a piece at least. I gotta push through this funk.

I finished version 1 of the earring stand! The body stands out from the wings and is connected with magnets so earrings can be easily displayed. Necklaces can be displayed across the wings.

It’s super weird being back on a public social media platform like this. I left most platforms like a decade ago due to stalking and harassment. I used to be a femme human in the ttrpg scene… so ya, it was a special kind of hell. Fingers crossed that I can develop a community of cool people here.

There’s a lot that goes into the stuff I design. Lot of test prints, reworking, and returning to the literal drawing board. Im annoyed at myself because each failed print costs me around $12, which adds up fast. But rarely am I able to move from digital to physical without a few “failures.”

For my first post Ill share the art Im currently working on. It started as a drawing. Then I brought it in to Illustrator and created the cutouts. Then fed it all in to my glowforge for the laser cutting.
