Did you hear about the man who got cooled down to absolute zero?

The resemblance is uncanny. We all know which cuckoo is flying over the imploding nest.

Ask Canada how things are going with their southern neighbours. Marles and Albo are too thick to get it.

There are no "clean" fish. No matter where you catch them in the world, they all contain microplastics, and contaminants like PCBs, PBDEs, dioxins, and chlorinated pesticides. Our world is dying.

On the as usual insufferable #Insiders today, Taylor was asked whether the Farrer polling was "do or die". But the impression given by the terrible graphic was that the Libs and Nats are just behind the independent.

The second image is drawn properly to scale. Libs & Nats are toast.

I thought that the publication header was "No cookers" on first reading. Needed a double take.

Significant portions of the world have no air traffic at all at the moment. Nothing is flying over Belarus, Ukraine, Iraq, and Iran. Afghanistan is mostly vacant.

Desmos, Geogebra, JSXGraph and Wolfram|Alpha are excellent graph plotters when the domain and range is limited, but can fall over for various "challenge" plots when the domain or range is extended. My ASVG plots are more successful, but are not generalised. See bourne2learn.com/math/asvg/as...

Who can forget the classic mug (that was $35 on eBay, but quietly disappeared when a surplus failed to materialise)?

The UK took its Kyoto agreements more seriously than most, and will reach 0% fossil fuels by around 2090 at the current rate. (This is better than the world average which is over 200 years to get to zero carbon.)

"Solastalgia" is the term used to describe the grief felt when coming across environmental destruction.

This used to be a nature corridor of sorts at the end of my street. Now it's a bare, hot wasteland set to become a 4-lane motorway.

Madness.
