P1 have been focusing on the number 4. Yesterday we made the number 4 from playdough. P2 have been building on their adding skills using the colourful blocks to help. Great creativity happening in our class, we had a toy shop and helicopter landing pad!

Some great learning today from P2/1. We have been working so hard on our adding skills in P2. L had the chance to become the teacher, writing sums for her friends and helping them to answer if they were unsure. P1 working hard on letter formation today! 😄

P2/1 have loved the new addition of a puppet theatre in our classroom 😄. We have been coming up with silly stories to share with our friends 🤣! We are starting to think about our stories having a beginning, middle and end. The owl 🦉 and squirrel 🐿️ puppets became firm favourites. 📖

P2/1 have loved the new addition of a puppet theatre in our classroom 😄. We have been coming up with silly stories to share with our friends 🤣! We are starting to think about our stories having a beginning, middle and end. The owl 🦉 and squirrel 🐿️ puppets became firm favourites. 📖
P2 having been showing off their brilliant adding skills using a number line! We discussed how it is easier to start with our bigger number and add on the smaller number. We have also been enjoying using the magnetic letters to help revise our phonemes. Look at the fabulous words L wrote! 🔡🔢

Mr Bear has become a big part of our class! He likes to get involved with our play and our learning. This week he left us a surprise on Monday morning! We have new story jotters to let our imaginations run wild. He has also been leaving notes to children! 📚🧸

New sound this week for P1. We practiced writing this and making tinfoil t’s. P2 have been working hard on their adding skills over the last few weeks. We’ve learned that even when the numbers are switched in the sum the answer stays the same! P2 have been learning about the skeleton too! 🦴➕🏓
