Early on, I've found myself drawn to Hull City and Chelsea. Hull City, love that they just got promoted and love the defense.

Chelsea, they've been in really entertaining matches so far. The matches are hectic in a good way.

The World Cup got me watching Premier League this year. I know nothing about the league, so really going in blind as I try to find a team to root on.

Four chapters into The Picture of Dorian Gray, i have to say I never want to get in a conversation with someone like Lord Henry. That dude is exhausting and as full of himself as one can be.

I finished reading James tonight, and I have to say I haven't read anything as good as this in years. This book adds such amazing depth to the world of Huck Finn, and I don't think I truly expected the book to end the way it did.

5 stars, everyone should this masterpiece.

Finished Rhythm of War today, and the ending didn't disappoint. There was a curveball i didn't see coming and I'm looking forward to seeing where it leads.

Taking a break from the #cosmere to read James by Percival Everett before getting into Wind and Truth. Just 30 pages in, I'm already all in.

I just finished Part Four of Rhythm of War, and I could really feel/visualize the end of Adolin's trial. I haven't been digging his character too much throughout the series, but that was INTENSE. I really want to see that scene on screen somehow/someway.

As I get older, I find there's nothing more relaxing than popping on some music, sipping a bourbon and diet, and reading a good book to get the weekend started.

I am playing the MSQ in FF14 for the first time, and I just had my first fight with Nidhogg. As I fought, I couldn't help but be reminded of the Gwyn, Lord of Cinder theme and the juxtaposition between such a powerful foe and a tragic theme.

I read Warbreaker after finishing Oathbringer, and I am noticing/remembering connections between it and things that happen in The Stormlight Archives as I work through The Rhythm of War. I think I'll have to re-read the books at some point to see what I missed the first time.

One of the Discord servers I belong to has fun music leagues that last a month or so. I've never seen these before, and it's an entertaining exercise trying to find a song that fits the theme for that round while still fitting my own tastes.
