I think you're mistaking the example for the actual point here. Gongsun Long was responding to the Confucian position that using correct language would lead to a harmonious society. The white horse thing is just an example to demonstrate that there is no such thing as correct language.

I don't think he's played a single game at CB since he moved to RB in summer 2022. Unlike Timber who does play there for the Netherlands, so I think the Konsa transfer says more about his fitness concerns than White's.

In the late 19th century century, socialist parties were generally pro free trade too, because it lowered grain prices. Rural conservatives were against for the same reason.
