Mr Harris & some of our Sixth Form students spoke to Y11 in assembly about the opportunities available at Sixth Form. Expections & pathways were discussed, with students sharing their experiences & advice on preparing for exams & their journey.

Y12 English Language resit revision sessions will be available with Mr. Jones in room 90 every Friday 3:30-4:30pm. These sessions will offer support & will revise key areas to prepare you for your exam. Please make every effort to attend.

Good luck to Alice M & Eden J in Y8 asthey represents Wales at the Dance World Cup in Dublin. They will be competing across 11 days, performing alongside dancers from across the world in one of the largest international dance competitions. The very best of luck for the competition.

Year 10 GCSE Art students had a productive and enjoyable day out yesterday, visiting Cardiff Museum and Craft in the Bay to find inspiration for their final projects. The pupils were lovely company and well focused on the mission- Da iawn pawb!

Our Year 9/10 team of Ammu G, Eliza H, Lily R & Maddie JH missed out on progressing to the next round, losing out to Porthcawl after a fantastic effort. The Year 7/8 team of Heidi H, Violet P, Sofia D & Ava M secured an emphatic victory & will now go on to represent Bridgend in the next round.

The Gold D of E Award participants have successfully completed their assessed expedition. They worked very hard in challenging conditions to complete 4 days of walking and 3 nights of camping in the Brecon Beacons. Well done to everyone involved!

We welcomed our new Y7 pupils to Brynteg School for their Transition Day. They've been getting to know their new form groups by taking part in a range of team building activities designed to help them build confidence, make new friends & feel at home before they join us in September.

We'd like to wish Y13 student Josh Gabrielsen the best of luck as he represents Wales U18s Rugby League in France. Before leaving for France with the squad, he took the time to visit Mr Harris & present the school with a framed Wales jersey. We are very proud of Josh. Well done!
