Anytime I see something somewhere I’m interested in, I go to Libby first and do it if it’s not there. Even if I end up buying the book or reading it somewhere else, I leave it tagged because why not let them get another book?

For such a wild ride of a book, it was surprising how much of it was based in reality. Frankenstein’s monster is one of my favorite characters ever so Adam being extra dickish was a tough swallow at first. But, I went from being nervous at first to it being one of my favorites of yours.

I joined as a reader not as a publisher so I’m not sure if it’ll be helpful to you at all. I haven’t started reading one yet; but I started the audiobook I was approved for & it was super simple.

Oof. I know some people have an easier time of separating art from artist than I do; but particularly with someone like M I don’t get how anyone can be surprised or even annoyed by her politics. They’ve been there from the start & they are intertwined in her work.

Me, too! I was in the golden triangle that night and it was such an uplifting feeling when the news broke. I’ve got a great shot when everyone came back out and she was in the Obama shirt. I’ll have to try to dig it out

I had purchased All The Sinners on a whim awhile ago and pulled it out of my TBR piles about a week ago & loved it. It was the first thing I’d ever read by him, I’ll have to grab more. I immediately threw it out in my little library for BHM when I realized it was a Black author.
