While too many in Congress are absorbed in partisan combat, Gabe Vasquez has stayed focused on solving problems and helping his constituents. Time and again, he has set politics aside to deliver for New Mexico. I was excited to join him at today's town hall - and am proud to be in his corner.

My only ask is this: Spread the word about the threats to democracy and how we can fight back. Tell everyone to subscribe to Democracy Docket and share its content. demdock.com/4w6emld

Trump promised to pay $5000 dollars to every adult U.S. citizen if the Republicans win the house and the senate. In other words, he’s bribing voters. The smell of desperation stinks to high haven. He may want to pay those $2000 dollars he promised first 😂😂😂

He's now resorting to trying to buy the election.

Federal law makes it unlawful to knowingly and willfully pay, offer to pay, or accept payment for registering to vote or for voting. (52 U.S.C. §10307(c).) Any type of incentive is considered “payment.”

Deliberately crashing the American economy—costing American families well over $5,000 each—and then promising to pay those families back $5,000 but *only if* they keep letting him abuse them and the country for two more years...

...is some *seriously* dark, domestic-abuser shit.

One of the things I hate the most about tariffs is that we knew they were illegal, and when the court finally decided they were illegal, they forced Trump to refund the tariffs. But the refunds went to the corporations, and not the people the corporations raised prices on.

What a scam.
