Just retired hurt from working on the bees, 20-30 stings, anti-histamine and water inside me quick. They have been neglected the past 6 weeks with hols and golf. Honey in all the wrong places. Mayhem to put it (almost) right. Will give them an hour to calm down a bit b4 I go back. Too hard this.

I’m not watching any World Cup games in USA, I may watch some in Canada and Mexico and if England get to the semis/final. Not even interested if Scotland manage to score a goal or not. There is no joy in this for me, shame as it used to be a celebration of the beautiful game. They’ve spoilt it.

Oh dear, son-in-law Arsenal supporter watched the game last night in a sports bar in Formby and is well pissed off that all the “scousers” were cheering wildly for PSG. He can’t understand it. 😂😂😂😂

I’ve nothing but +ve experiences with Jewish friends/colleagues but plse never buy anything from Israel and let’s make it the pariah it deserves to be. Gaza genocide and the treatment of Palestinians was bad enough but this racist death penalty law and the “buffer zone” in Lebanon are beyond evil.

Recommendations please @brianwoolfinder.bsky.social for a pub/restaurant in the Huyton/Prescot area that serves up plain well cooked food, eg Fish and Chips, Pie and Gravy, Roast Dinners. No Tobys or pubs that just microwave frozen ready meals (you know where I mean).

Can anybody tell me what went on with the dropped ball given to their goalie who then picked it up walked to the edge of the area, then placed it down. Surely, at that point the ball was in play and Barry was perfectly entitled to go for it….but the ref stopped it and had a word with Barry. 🤷
