If the Fed has to raise rates this week, it will be due solely to the foreign and domestic policy of Trump and the Republican Party. They will, as always, lash out at others and attempt to shift blame. But it is a straight line between their policies and rates rising.

Remember every Republican President in the 21st Century has handed a Democratic Majority what would have been understood to be a back-breaking economic crisis. Literally, this week, the Houthis attacked another key strait and we reached 98% oil refinement capacity.
Dems need to get their heads around what a big clusterfuck Iran will be by January. We could be in full-blown energy crisis, 1979-style, with an urgent need to put grown-ups in charge of the war machine (if it is not targeted at Dems before then).
