It's been quiet for a while, because life was complicated...
However, I'm happy to share that Twinstones, a fan-made Discord bot which rolls two d12 (Hope + Fear) the #daggerheart way, passed the magical number of 50 servers!
Thanks, y'all, for your interest!
Give it a try via twinstones.link!

And done! AWS Instance State: Stopped.
All Discord apps and tools are migrated. Everything's running on Hetzner now,... cheaper, more data secure, and actually in Europe where it belongs.
Happy Tuesday, everyone ^^

Migration update: all three websites are live on the new server, bots are slowly following.
Got sidetracked with a little dashboard to monitor my services ^^
Still need to set up bookstack and grafana, but the aws era is almost over.

9/12 repositories migrated to Codeberg, first app running on Hetzner, automated deployment, works like a charm for everything.
Next up: DB migration and the bigger bots.

Took the opportunity to implement a long due auto deploy mechanism.

Where I had my struggles:
- External monitor setup via USB-C
- Wacom One setup
- I messed up a backup file, but that was entirely on me.
But: All things are solved by now.
All in all, games running smoothly since two days. Seems I'm finally settled on Linux ^^

Seems like @bazzite.gg is the way to go for gaming on Linux in these days?
Let's hope I'm fully prepared to move over.

I love the experiences in #Daggerheart just so much.
Especially when leveling up, making a choice reflected by the character arc.
Jerald, a Guardian, who somewhat is suspicious of magic, and got teased (in a friendly way) for not knowing any, rocks his 'Physics is my spellcraft' experience 😄

Small but fun update: the Twinstones website (twinstones.link/) now has a built-in dice roller!
You can now try all three roll commands directly in your browser. Just head over to twinstones.link and hit "Try it" next to any command.

The nice lady with the mean questions, aka my therapist, made me cry once again. This time by telling me how proud she is of me.
Turns out, being seen can be just as overwhelming as being hurt... 🥹

So I've been working on a personal side project for weeks, testing it thoroughly in my spare evenings, just to stumble upon an undocumented API change in an edge case just seconds after deploying in prod.
