My loc’d hair.
My clothes.
My shoes.
My intelligence.
I’ve been called a ghetto Black b!t€h.

Now @JDVance says I don’t belong and should leave the very country my ancestors helped build.

This is a lot y’all. It is.

How a Private Equity Group Drove an Apartment Complex Into the Ground
After decades as a coveted address in Syracuse, N.Y., the sprawling Nob Hill complex descended into neglect, squalor and death. One family paid a terrible price.

The case represents a new front in President Trump’s mass deportation drive: arrests at airports of people who have active immigration cases and no criminal history.

Conservative backlash was supposed to put an end to the DEI movement as companies were warned “go woke, go broke”.

But new research shared exclusively with the Guardian found that companies that kept their DEI practices performed just as well as their competitors who pulled back.

Is Ossoff the only major Dem candidate talking urgently and powerfully about Trump’s corruption and incompetence as a big part of their campaign? Are the rest mostly talking endlessly (and in platitudes) about affordability, which they probably can’t do much about for at least 2 years?

This needs to be nailed to the “church door” of the Democratic establishment
The cautious centrists and center-left politicians who have dominated the Democratic Party for so long have failed. Voters see this, which is why the uprising within the Democratic Party is unlikely to be contained.

I'll summarize this: Mamdani asked NYers to keep air conditioning at 78 degrees. A wave criticism hit online. A MSNBC broadcast pointed out the US Department of Energy recommends that 78 degree figure.

Immediately after, the US Department of Energy deleted 6,000 web pages related to energy saving.

With this ruling, the birthright issue is not going away. The right hasn't really begun *organizing* around getting rid of the citizenship clause. Like Roe, this will be their fight for a generation. And if the Democrats just say "we won" and ignore it, like Roe, the Republicans will eventually win.

SCOTUS reforms have to top any todo list or they’ll just undo any progress
The Supreme Court is one vote away from undoing the 14th Amendment.
The Birthright citizenship ruling should be a wake up call to any Dem who is still on the fence about court reform. We are essentially one seat change away from the Court undoing Reconstruction by fiat.

I've reported on Musk for around 8 years. I've co-authored a book on him. I don't think folks understand the rate of his wealth accumulation.

Shortly after he helped elect Donald Trump in Nov 2024, his net worth was around $350 billion. That net worth has nearly tripled in less than two years.
